We're Finally Here
After buying our home on Locust Shade in June of 2010, we have at long last completed the move to VA. Our Connecticut home sold in November, 2011, and we (literally) moved the rest of our belongings here .
We have three grown daughters who live in New York, Chicago, and Atlanta. Lisa is a former educator and pre-school director while Jack worked in the advertising business in Chicago, Atlanta, and New York for 30+ years and currently freelances in the magazine business.
Lisa enjoys running, reading, gardening, and sewing. Jack spends time on the Nordic Track and follows the political news of the day when he's not working or looking stuff up on the Internet. They both like to ski, bike on rails-to-trails, and kayak/canoe.
We are both very happy to finally be in our home here. We've already met some wonderful neighbors and look forward to meeting others in the neighborhood :)
